Alert: CDC Training for Psychologists and LBHP Initiative Is NOT Cancelled for July 16th
July 15, 2010
Hello to Everyone,
There is apparently some confusion among providers about the cancellation of the APS Web trainings on July 16 and 21. These are APS Web trainings we normally do during the course of a month on CareConnection and on the Intro to the PA Process. The training that is cancelled for Friday, July 16, 2010, is the APS CareConnection web-based training. The cancellation notice went out yesterday about these trainings.
Based on e-mails I have received since yesterday’s training announcement about the APS Web trainings, some providers are thinking the CDC Webinar (also scheduled for tomorrow, July 16) is the training that has been cancelled. It is NOT cancelled and will proceed as scheduled.
If you are a psychologist OR you are an LBHP Initiative or Insure Oklahoma private contractor, please make every effort to attend the CDC Webinar tomorrow morning presented by Dr. Mark Reynolds, ODMHSAS. You will benefit immensely from this Webinar and will have most, if not all, of your questions answered about the new processes and procedures. This is a specialized presentation just for you. We apologize for not giving more than a week’s notice on these, however, we are trying to accommodate the questions and concerns as quickly as possible in order to avoid any delay in services and billing.
Please be sure to access both the phone and Web portions of the training. To mute your phone, use (*6) star 6. To “unmute”, you will use the star 6 command also in order to ask any questions you may have.
To confirm, the DMH CDC web-based training for psychologists and privately contracted LBHPs is still scheduled for Friday morning, July 16, 2010.
Access information or to register for this training:
I apologize for any confusion this has caused.
